As Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, Bob Flinton manages Surety’s strategic marketing and communications initiatives, as well as the company’s product portfolio. Additionally, he’s responsible for the ongoing development and promotion of Surety’s branded products, market-growth strategy and corporate positioning. Mr. Flinton has over 20 years experience in IT, network, and information security marketing and product management. Prior to joining Surety, Mr. Flinton held senior marketing, product marketing and product management positions at NetForensics, Novell, E-Security, Cybertrust, Symantec and Sterling Software.
Mr. Flinton earned his MBA in Marketing at Marymount University in Arlington, VA, and received his Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University. He was commissioned in the U.S. Army Reserve through ROTC and served active duty time in Bosnia, Korea and Panama, discharging honorably as a Captain.
