HERNDON, VA, November 3, 2003 – Surety, LLC, a leading provider of data integrity services, today announced that NTT DATA CORPORATION, a leading provider of information systems and computer networking in Japan, has extended its agreement to distribute Surety’s flagship product, AbsoluteProof, in Japan. The new contract will allow NTT DATA CORPORATION to provide its customers with the data integrity technology to conclusively validate what digital information was created, when it was created and that it has been unaltered.

“Our customers have come to rely on AbsoluteProof to protect the integrity of their electronic documents,” stated Hiroshi Endoh, senior executive manager, NTT DATA CORPORATION. “We are thrilled to be extending our relationship with Surety and providing the best digital notary service in the industry to our client base.”

In April of 2000, NTT DATA CORPORATION introduced SecureSeal™ , a service powered by Surety’s patented technology, for verifying that electronic documents have not been tampered with and for time stamping electronic information in order to establish the authenticity of data used in electronic applications, electronic commerce, and intellectual property management. Through AbsoluteProof, NTT DATA CORPORATION customers will have access to a complete data integrity service to meet all business, legal, and regulatory requirements. The service offers the only long-lived, cryptographically verifiable data integrity solution built on patented technology and secure hashing algorithms. AbsoluteProof can notarize, timestamp, and validate virtually any electronic record, including email correspondence, database records, word processing documents, spreadsheets, PDF and XML files, images, audio, and video clips.
