Surety Joins Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium
HERNDON, VA -- November 03, 2003 – Surety, LLC, a leading provider of data integrity services, announced today that it has become the latest member of the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC), a group of more than 120 companies that work together to establish universally accepted data standards in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and device industries, as well as in regulatory agencies worldwide.
Through participation in CDISC’s Operational Data Modeling (ODM) and Submission Data Modeling (SDM) technical working groups, Surety looks to play an active role in shaping the vendor agnostic standards that will allow for end-to-end data flow of clinical trials from the initial acquiring source to electronic regulatory submission.
“We look forward to working with an organization whose efforts play an integral role in the research and development processes essential to achieving medical and biological breakthroughs,” said Tom Klaff, CEO of Surety. “Our experience with data integrity solutions will help to secure the intellectual property behind those breakthroughs.”
